An unforgettable summer

Hey Vaughntourage, I hope everyone is having a great week! I have a soccer game that starts at 9:45 tonight…why do I keep signing up for these seasons?? Hopefully we secure the W. And yes, the subtitle above was a poor attempt at a Natasha Bedingfield reference.

This has truly been one of my most memorable and enjoyable summers! Participating in West Side Story as Bernardo with Poiema Arts, Inc. has been extremely challenging in a very positive way. The community is incredible and the director pushed me well past my comfort zone. While I am used to rapping and singing on stage, acting and ballet dancing opened new opportunities and experiences. I am beyond grateful, this has been a summer well spent. Thank you so much to everyone who came to see the show! You may see me in future shows, we shall see!!!

Back to the music!

I hope you have been enjoying my ‘Christmas in July’ releases! Dash N’ Blitz in particular is continuing to receive a lot of very positive feedback. Given West Side Story is over, I plan to be back in the studio very soon. More songs are near complete, but I still readily welcome any unique ideas for Christmas music. Let me know!

Ok, that’s a wrap! My next scheduled performance is Oct 10th, more details to come in the next newsletter. Time to finish hydrating for this late night soccer game. I hope everyone enjoys the little bit of summer we have left! See y’all soon!
